corner/parking light in headlight assembly
 

i am not a big fan of orange/amber in light lenses. i was wondering if i remove the headlight assembly (i have to anyway to change the bulbs) is the orange parking/corner light simple to remove? is it just the bulb that is orange, or is there part of a lens in the headlight assembly that is orange too. i would like to have a nice white headlight in its entirety. i don't mind the bulb being orange, but the lens i want nice and clear.

also, is the headlight assembly difficult to remove? i looked on youtube for videos, but i just found tail light instructions (which seems so easy)

Not to be rude, but I am curious if you bothered to look at your car's headlight assembly before posting your question?
In any case, these photos are from my 2004 A4 Avant with Halogen bulbs, not sure if the HID headlights have a different amber reflector or not.
On my model, the parking light bulb it self is amber, but there is also a section inside the assembly that is orange plastic to reflect, the lightfrom the side. See attached photos....
