I had the same problem slow leak but worst part loss of heat
it was the rear coolant flange cost about 20 bucks for the part but its about a 4 hour job i know of a shop in mississauga that did mine at a good price
and if your having heat issues most likley it just needs to be blead really good took me a while to figure that out!!!

My 2004 Audi A4 has a smell of burning coolant when I have pushed the engine a bit, and loosing coolant. When I checked with a hand light, passenger side back of engine block was affect of coolant, I figured out problem was coolant flange . I got it from dealer less than $50 (if I good remember) and replace it myself. It takes couple hour to replace it.

I have a 2005 a4 1.8t the coolant is leaking from the back of the engine very fast - if I fill it up it'll all leak out within 5 minutes- does any one know what might be causing this leak?

My coolant in my Audi keeps depleting in a few months, which is definitely not normal. I took it to a local mechanic and they did a pressure test and said they couldn't detect any leaks.
I need to fix this ! I don't want it to become a bigger problem then it needs to be. And I don't want to go to a stealership.
Speed Test
Any suggestions for good and fair local shops around Toronto / Scarborough to look into this. Or has anyone had a similar problem ??
