Car Battery
Guys,
My Radio went into Safe Mode last night. LUCKILY i was able to get the radio code from my glove compartment as for some strange reason, Audi Canada does not keep these #s on hand. You would need to go to (and pay) the dealership to get the code for you.
Anyway, according to Audi Canada, the reason the radio went into Safe Mode was b/c my car battery was low
1. Is this true?
2. Is there an indicator for the battery that will come on when I absolutely need to change it?
3. Where is the best place to get the battery from? Type?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Car Battery
1. Not sure
2. There is no indicator. If your car seems slow to crank then get is changed.
3. Go to the dealer. At lead you'll be sure the battery has the same spec and size. Batteries are cheap.

Re: Car Battery
Audi Canada was no help at all in retrieve my radio code. I have VIN# and Serial#
They insisted that I take my car to a dealer and have it scanned.
Finally after calling many Canadian Audi service dealers and getting the same answer I called Audi USA
A very nice guy in Michigan took my info and in a minute he came back with my 4 digit code.
Code worked perfect..
Thank you Audi USA (800) 822-2834 What a pleasure to talk to you
