You can slip the gasket under without actually removing the cam-chain tensioner. Also, despite what is almost universally proclaimed, it's possible to remove and replace the CCT without the tool. It's not easy, but I've done it with my own hands so I know that it can be done.
Be sure to install the gaskets properly, and use the sealant where the factory service manual says to - those gaskets are prone to leaking.

Ok so I competed the gaskets and put the cct back together...I did a manual check using the crank poultry...the teeth don't line up..they are off by one link...did I miss something or is this common...if its not...how would I fix it....
