Buying a 2003 A4 1.8T, what to look for?

I'm looking into an A4 1.8T Quattro currently for sale. It has about 70K, is there any specific symptom to look for in an inspection? What should I expect to spend within the next year?

9+ yrs old and low km. Timing belt would be 1st thing; maybe brakes, control arms and possibly engine sludge. Get maintenance records/history.
