As soon as all this damn snow stops falling I'm gonna rip it apart under the hood and figure out what is going on. I'll probably change the pcv as said and pull off the valve cover and do a Jim-Tech repair on it which consists of the stock gasket and some gasket sealer in just the right spots, should sort it out. Have to see from there..

Also I have the stupid check engine light on for the secondary air injection pump so there is something wrong there too. My list is ever growing for the car. I'm gonna install my H&R's in the garage. My neighbors think I'm crazy, I had my boxster half torn apart for a few weeks during a repair I was doing and they keep lookin at my place wondering whats going on.

I know what you mean... it was -17 outside today and the wind was making it even worse... I'm not used to this cold anymore...

In a couple of weeks I'll be in florida with my wife golfing so I'll bring back the warm weather with me then and I'll take pics of my fix and finish up this thread at that time...

Awesome looking forward to it, maybe I have the same problem eventually or get the dealership to look at it, before the warranty goes.

Question Re: Burning smell inside car

Can anyone recommend a good non-deal Audi repair shop in the San Fernando Valley? I have the same problem but the dealerships our here are crooks.

Thats gonna be a little tough considering most people here on audiforum.CA are from Canada, not California.

I would think that you would get more responses from an Audi group specific to the USA or even Cali. Did you post this on VW Vortex? With their size you would find somebody there in your area with a recommendation for sure.
