I decided to lend the Mrs. my car this morning and she managed to rub it against the cement pole in the underground garage. Most of the damage to the area just above the rear right wheel (dent and deep scratches). Can anyone recommend a good body shop that will do good work and not fleece me in the process?

not sure on pricing, because I know them personally, and never used them outside of an insurance claim, he's been a friend of my dads for may years, but try Arfil Auto Collision. I know they do work even without dealing with the insurance companies, they do great work. I've had to use him twice since I got my car, once I wasn't even in my car(replace L/F fender headlight, foglight, paint), other time I got rearended(scratch - paint and fill)

pricing on parts all depends on if you want OEM or aftermarket (depends if you need parts like a bumper reflector)

My ex did the same to the Lexus we owned. I took it to Reg's Auto Refinishing at the recommendation of a family member and he did an awesome job for what I considered a decent price (basically 1K including matching the back door to the repainted panel) since I paid for it myself.

He seemed very honest, was a pleasure to deal with and was very communicative.

I'm not affiliated in any way, but I'd go back. And he's been around for ages too...

I have 2 small stone chips that have developed a little rust this winter.
