People tend to post in the wrong areas, so we cant assume what vehicle you have: Platform? B5, B6, Etc. Model: A4, A5, Etc drivetrain: do you have the sport suspension? Are you lowering your car? Bilstein's are good, sure. But what are you looking for? what are you trying to achieve? |
Re: Bilstein
My mechanic installed Bilsteins for me at the back without giving me a choice. I find them brutal, hard, sticking to the road like crazy. Supreme stopping power when slowing down from 180Km/hr to 80km/hr for speed cameras and radars, but at the same time the people behind me can not stop that fast and this is danger to my rear end. The original shocks were hard but not that hard. I have 2003 AUDI A4 Avant 3.0 l engine.

I believe Bilstein's come stock on our car, front and rear. I have an 03 3.0L as well. Mine has the sport suspension (red), which I believe are Bilsteins. |
