Lightbulb Basic upgrades

Okayyy!
For the last year or so, I have been on this forum looking for the perfect setup for my DD B6, and finally dropped the idea to go gt28rs and got *just* a K04. With interns the size of about a Gt2854r, today I got my FMIC from eurospot (really, no "r") on sale, I am about to get the mototec 2,5" cat-back also on sale but back order, I have a forge SPLT-R on 50/50, and I have a couple of unanswered questions.... I'm going for unitronic stage 2+, so I'll get 386cc injectors, And of course a CAI.
So here are my questions:
I want to go turbo back, so is a test pipe or downpipe just the portion of the Cat? So it would bolt on a cat-back, thus creating a full turbo back exhaust? Because most turbo-back are more expensive....
Seriously, I know you are tired of getting the same questions over and over, but for my setup in your opinion what would be the best intake? Is a K&N drop-in enough? Or should I stick a cone on the MAF? Or a custom intake with heat shield?
And finally, (for now), what other supporting mods (regarding the engine) should I consider, like walbro 225 at this level..... ? Thanks for any help I know it's a lot lol but I did my home works before asking!

Chris
