okay so if it looks like those, then then you have halogen headlights with an aftermarket HID kit. The issue is most likely the kit.

buy a new HID kit or put H7 halogen bulbs back in. Problem solved.

Confirmed: you have DS1 xenon headlights. They are single xenon, auto leveling.

the owner of your car must have been a real clown because he got rid of the proper ballasts and bulbs.

The proper valeo ballast is supposed to seal up the big opening in the bottom of the headlight. Halogen headlights do not have a hole in the bottom here.

Do you have condensation issues every time it rains?

Do you have dipped headlight errors?

You need two of these ballasts

Audi B6 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Lighting > Headlights > ES#251855 Audi B6 D1S Hid Ballast - 3D0907391B

two of these bulbs.

Audi B6 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Lighting > Headlights > ES#5862 Xenon Headlight Bulb - Priced Each - N10566101

its expensive but thats what should have came with your car in the first place. This will solve your problem.

I really appreciate your help. Thanks alot, but 1 last question. Can i get the ballast you have? I would like to keep the HID'S without the headache and if getting better quality HID'S would help, i would rather get thoes then spend 1 grand +.

You could just disconnect everything from that HID kit and just buy a DDM or VVME HID kit, since they are very inexpensive and work great considering the price. just a suggestion.

what he said. Except you may run into the same problem you had before and you will have a giant hole in the bottom of your headlights making you prone to condensation everytime it rains.
