Well similar. Look smaller. A picture of a white porche 911 on it and says BALLAST. A little smaller then the picture above ^. And maybe i might mention, 1 in about 15-20 starts, when i first accelerate off driveway, the abs turns on (no light on dash), i can hear clicking sound near brake pedal. Once i press it, it feels like when you stop on snow and abs turns on. And i have to do a full stop, then accelerate again and its gone.

I'm fairly new to the audi world but what is a dolphin a4?

I'm thinkin of converting to HID on my 2000. It currently has the projector H7 assembly and I have 4 gen3 hella ballasts w/built in ignitor. They were OEM options for some audi, Volkswagen and porche but I've researched a bit and found people still have problems with them. I've read about using capacitors to trick the can-bus into thinkin the headlight is still pulling the same wattage/voltage. I've read people say you can just change a code in your ECU with a vag-com scanner. And sure a4rob says just buy a new conversion kit and try it out, gurvir44 might have the cash, but I sure as hell don't have the money to spend on trying it out. I'm spending $1.44 a litre for gas!!
You can check what options your car originally came with by checking in the spare tire well in your trunk. There should be a sticker with a buncha codes there. Here's a site that decipher the codes for you. (VW Group Option Codes Decoder)
I hope somebody who knows how to fix your problem posts an answer for ya bud. Hopefully I can learn some more about it too.

Haha thanks. I guess I have a Casablanca A4 then.
Damn I've spent alotta time searching for HID info. Just hopin someone has info on whether my hella ballasts will cause problems. I think I'm just gonna hook em up and hope
for the best. If it doesn't work perfectly I'll switch them back to halogen.
I'll post updates when I do it and someone can learn from it

That ballast is from vvme, which is the HID kit im currently using, you could scan your car to see whats wrong, might be the ballast placement itself causing some of the MILs to flash.
