Airbox Removal
As the title says, i couldn't find a DIY on removing the stock airbox. Can someone point me in the right direction? I need to remove the top cover specifically.
Thanks :D |
Re: Airbox Removal
Don't have a DIY but you need to start by removing two screws in the portion of the inlet house right at the front of the car. From the front, look inside the portion of the hose that is up left of the hood latch. Once that piece is removed, the rest of the intake line removes piece by piece until you get to the airbox.

Re: Airbox Removal
The only part im hesitant on removing are the hose clamps. are they reusable? or is there a specific one that i can just yank the line out and just place back without removing the clamp?

Re: Airbox Removal
The hose clamps are not reusable and are not supposed to be reused but if you replace them with regular hose clamps it will be better.
