aftermarket radio, keyless entry problem A4 B6
Hey guys Im new here but been searching for a while cant seem to find any answers
I just installed a single din pioneer radio in my 2003 A4 quattro (the stock radio was a symphanyII bose I also installed a amp and sub after putting in the radio I found that there was no acc wire in the harness from the car, so I just ran it to the 12v wire everything sounds great except for a little poping here and there, I think that a ground loop isolator will fix that... what my real problem is, is that my keyless entry remote no longer work (x2) none of them so I know that it is not the battery in the remotes... I did disconect the car battery for a few seconds to install the power wire for the amp, so I thought that might be it so I tried to re-program the fobs but no luck... so im thinking that it might have something to do with the wiring harness for the oem radio... does anyone know if the keyless entry has anything to do with the radio? I did see a few wires that did not conect to anything on the harness that I bought??? Any help would be great |

I don't have any experience with this particular issue with the fobs not working but reading about your harness having wires that go no where reminded me of this page (linked below).
