A4 tiptronic problem
Hi, I have a 2005 A4 tiptronic. A few weeks ago the display started flipping between D and S. In that state moving the shift had no effect. It drives fine though. It is like it decides automatically that I should be in Sports mode!
However, yesterday it now flashes continuously. It doesn't seem to make any difference to driving. It is obviously in D mode now (rather than flipping between D and S).
My local Audi garage says it needs a new multi function switch which would cost £700 plus labour (they saw it before it went into flashing mode by the way).
