Which DV should I get?

1) This one!

eBay Motors: Forge Adjustable Diverter Valve Audi A4 VW GTI GLI 1.8T (item 220346114572 end time Feb-15-09 13:13:51 PST)

2) This one?

Yup works great, but the best ones are by forge I would say, as you can rebuild them easily

damn... i just bought the apr r1 thing...

phew but well i knew many people suggested the forge one, but

somehow Apr r1 sounds mean ^^

Is the Forge a piston then? You do need to do some periodic maintenance on them like lubrication for them to operate correctly. I was going to go with the APR unit for just that reason.

I would say that it depends on what kind of boost you are running....

As for the forge, they come with a variety of different boost pressure springs, the more boost you get into chipping etc. you swap the spring accordingly and there you go.

With regards to APR Diaphram wears down sooner...you start getting boost leaks etc, I would say average run = 1-2 years chipped!

Spring Loaded!! And yes you have to lube them once every 6months to a year. Not hard at all, but IMO it does not break down, as the spring over time looses its ability to retract back, and all you do is replace it. APR's I heard you gotta send back to APR, but am not sure on this as I am not up to date on them. I will ask ANDY@APR to shed some light on this...even though its a one sided opinion. I will tell him to logg on and let us know
