I have same car right now V6 3.0 Silver in color and I really like the Five or 6 spoke solid look I can take a few photos when weather warms up and send photos of car with 6 spoke S4 rims and my Stock 2002 rims. What style do you have now?

Anything under 20 lbs would be considered light if looking at 18's. OEM A4 and S4 wheels are not known to be very different in weight - not sure exactly but would guestimate that 18's are probably in the mid to high 20's ... Lots of info and pics over on Audizine.com

Re: From 16 inch wheels to 18 inch wheels what will happen???
Hi I pick up my new rims tomorrow. They are 18x8 2005 S4 rims. I spoke to a few tire shops. And as long as I stick to 235/40/18's they will fit the wheel well exactly the same as my 16 inch rims.
I ran the tire calculator and they will be the same size and will not effect the speedometer at all.
The million dollar question is what the ride will be like. I have been researching quite a bit about possible tire selections here is my short list for summer and all season tires.
Any thoughts on these greatly appreciated
Ultra High Performance All Seasons
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S plus
Continental Extreme Contact DWS
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positon
Performance Summer Tires
Bridgestone Potenza RE760
Maxaudi what tires are you looking at?
Cheers

In a different note, and speaking about weight: the OEM 16'' wheels are 21lb, and the 17''s around 26lb. The 18'' new wheels that I'm getting are around 25lb, not too good, not too bad. Steve is right: the lighter the better.
The OEM 16'' stock wheels have an offset of (+) 42, so I have changed my order: from +35 to +38. It will flash the front (tire/fender), and if I add a 8mm spacer at rear it will come very close to flash the rear too.

Hi just to update had 18 inch S4 rims put on car this weekend. Amazing ride and looks. First impressions ride was a lot smoother than expected. Was thinking ride was going to be quite harsh.
Ended up putting on Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positons they look great and perform great so far will update again shortly.
Best Regards
