I use hengst filters with Total oil, I can't remember if it's 0-30 or 0-40, my dad usually gets it all for me at cost from his work...He knows what I use, so i've stopped looking lol

I use full synthetic Castrol 0Wx30 with Mobil 1 oil filter, no problems so far. have had the car since 119,000km now have over 200,000km on it!

OK - getting ready to do the oil change for first time in my 2003 1.8T Quattro (first time for me that is). Thread above mentioned the high capacity filter is the one we want - how do I know which is the high capacity? Will it be the same number recommended in the Oil Filter books at the auto part store for the 1.8T with a HC rating, or do I choose one from a 2.0 or 3.0 car?
