'04 A4 Want Larger Wheels/Tires
Hi guys.
I've been up and down the search function, but can't find the info I need.
I currently have winter tires on the factory rims on my '04 A4 and would like to take them off and use the factory rims only for the winter. Tire size - 215/55/16.
Since I'll be buying a total wheel package, I'd really like to put larger rims on, like 17" or 18", but am unsure of what sizes will fit. There really isn't a lot of room in that wheel well.
If any of you have done this or know of a link or thread that can help me out, please let me know. Summer's coming and I've got to get these winters off!
Thanks.

I'm sure that I have the regular suspension, but I'm willing to try the 19" if you guys say they'll fit. I think 235/35/19 would look great.
Thnaks very much for the responses guys.
Have a great summer!

Ya, after doing a little more research, I'm thinking 235/40 R18. I would prefer them to be wider like the 245's you mention. I'm just worried about inside tire rub. Offset is what I've got to look into now and getting the tires to move outward.
Thanks

^^I run this setup with a lowered suspension (H&R Sport) and I never rub. (8.5ET35)
IMO, 8.5 wide with a +35 offset on 235/40 = best practical setup on a B6.
