So i was doin the valve cover gasket today i noticed that the cam on the passenger side is worn out!!! 2 of the teeth are not as sharp anymore as the rest. Have anyone experienced such a problem with the 1.8t ? I searched and couldnt find anything about it. Like they are actually worn they are not sharp at all!! They are round.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this? I use total 5 w 40 do oil changes every 4k. Millage is 170km
Should i stop driving my car until i have a mechanic look at it? Its weekend i guess i have to wait untill monday
Please let me know if anyone have had this problem in their 1.8t or know what is the reason to cause it.
