Probably a matter of opinion - when is an appropriate time to switch from Winter to Summer tires?

Owner manual suggests temperatures above 8 degrees celcius. I'm in Toronto. Thoughts, opinions?

This is the first time I've had seperate tires for Summer and Winter.

I am doing it soon, I usually do it in April sometimes may depending on weather but when the weather is prodomenantly warm and the mornings are above 0 then its time.

 

Usually most people I know switch around mid-April. It is different from year to year based on temperature and how fast they're getting those pot holes filled up. You don't want to be running your nicer wheels and tires when they're more likely to get killed out there.

I'd say when its consistently warm (over freezing) and not like it is now with freeze and thaw still going on.
