Default where to find a4 wipers ?

Hi,

I want to change my a4 wipers. I can find some at my audi dealer but they are 75$ + tx... ouch. And Canadian Tire say they don't have because it is an imported car... Anyone have a idea ?

Thanks.

If your wipers' "frames" are in good condition, you can just buy new inserts instead (part number 1j0-955-429-a, according to this thread on AudiWorld. I think I got my pair changed for $20 last time.

Well I was all ready to get a set of Bosch Icons when the boys over at Independent informed me that they didn't fit my car?!?!? Aeros neither...

They found this strange as I have an '04 model

Anyway, got the regular 550mm - I'm sure they'll do the trick but I'm still left wondering...

Anyone else with an '04 had any issues like this?

Question Re: where to find a4 wipers ?

Sup, Ive seen those bosch icon blades at a store here. Do you guys know if they fit the 02 b6 blade mounts? did someone say that they are better than the rain-x wipers?

The B6 has a new blade mount so no go.... Aero makes a kit that works but its like $90 and they last longer then the stock ones Stocks tend to leave streaks after their lifetime is up and this is pretty much on year for me. You can extend the life of them by spraying Silicone in a can onto them you should also do this to all your rubber seals and sunroof seal. Trust me its awesome and keeps your car from leaking as well, or the rubber cracking in winter

Thumbs up Re: where to find a4 wipers ?

wow, you just saved me 40 bucks. Guess I might go with rain x or find out which ones fit. That's good info on the sealant Thanks a lot. You found a car yet?

O yeah... Is it ok for a little silicone to get on paint or the sunroof glass? Guess i will aim the spray towards the glass
