! Warning Light !
 

Just need to know what this warning light is. Was on for a few minutes then was gone.
It came on while shifting gears 1 to 2.
It is a yellow line with an arrow at one end and the line is in the shape of a triangle with an "!" exclamation mark in the middle. Sorry no picture.
I am ordering a clutch soon as this was a city car and now i drive it mostly highway and i can just feel the slightest slip now (sometimes).

anyway is this warning light something to do with the clutch or is it something more??
Car is '04 A4 wagon, 3.0 quattro, 6spd.

Any help, much appriciated.

sounds like your ESP, i think, i might be wrong, it flashes when your tires lose traction or slip.
forgot to add, if it is your ESP thats normal for it to flash when its activated.

Sounds like ESP to me too. Check the chart on post #4 in the linked thread to be sure.

ESP makes sense too. It is still a little icy here and there.
I'll keep an eye on it.
