Undercarriage of A4 -

Does anyone know what the metal cylinder under the passenger seat is (has 2 "wires/pipes"). Mine is making noises like its a pump that is stuck on...

Please advise

isnt the fuel filter under the gas tank... its not a inline pump is it? not sure on your year
