I have a 1.9tdi multitronic, I've noticed this sound also when I start reversing and then when I move forward. It only happens once in reverse and then in forward, But nearly everytime I go for a drive. Its a short sound, not quite a crunch sound but sounds like a slight grinding of something. I have had the TCM replaced recently and the engine remapped to 160bhp from 130. Still there after all this work. Is it something to be worried about! Please say its not!!!
