Yea i live in upstate NY and get pulled over all the time for my windows being tinted but i only get hassled when i go upstate like Potsdam/Plateburgh area, for the most part the cops in my comunity and surrounding areas dont care about windows. but i have had had my tints on for a year or so at about 80% and have paid a few tint tickets in that time, at about $70 or so a piece. I have a black 01 A4 1.8 with around 80% black all the way around minus the front windshield and i love the look!!!!
