Swapping a US gauge cluster for Canadian cluster

Hi all,

I'm wanting to swap out my USA gauge (instrument) cluster for a Canadian one, and may be able to buy one for $200-$300.

I found this post: https://www.audiforum.ca/audi-a4/823...t-cluster.html and am hoping someone could tell me exactly what needs to be reprogrammed in VAG COM so the new cluster will operate properly and not have immobilizer issues.

1move, would you have any suggestion?

thanks,
Andrew

I think you can only do this if the cluster is new. If I recall you cannot change the odometer reading if the new one has over a certain amount of kms on it.

By the way, if it is new and <$300 let me know since I might as well switch mine for that price (though I have gotten use to reading mph).
