Scratched Rims -
Just swapped my winter tires for summer tires.
I bought this car used a few months ago. This is the first time seeing the summer tires. The chrome rims are all scratched to s*!@. Looks like the last owner scrapped along the curb or something. 2002 A4, 1.8T. Stock chrome rims from the Sport package. Is there a product on the market that can take care of this? Fill the scratches and dry clear, for example? I remember seeing something like this for leather seats..... |

For DIY, here ya go: DIY wheel repair
A professional job incl. wheel straightening costs approx. $125. per wheel ... |
Re: Scratched Rims -
If they're really chrome this isn't going to work - there's no such thing as chrome paint really. But most (stock) alloy rims are a brilliant silver that can be repainted fairly easily, like in Avantquattro's link.
