Radiator Fan not working...
 

Hi, I'm having A4 2004 model(2.4 ltr) 6 cylinder car. since few days its Radiator fan is not working at all. I got it checked with 2 mechanics and the computer didn't find any error, but both the mechanics suggested that its "Fan Controller Module" needs to be replaced. I'm living in Saudi Arabia and average temp. here these days is 25C. If my car is moving, its temp. remains normal but if I'm stuck in traffic, it shoots up, this happened twice with me and I immediatly stopped the car and let it cool down before moving again.
Unfortunately this spare part is not available with agency right now.

What do you suggest? is it possible the FCM is defected and yet not captured by computer.
should I drive my car a little bit or not at all.

if your car is overheating then there is a problem. If it overheats it should have a record of it when they scan the ecm...

I would go to a third mechanic...
