Last week i picked up a 2003 avant 3.0 with 97,000kms.....i know about the lowers and i need to de-badge the rear, and the RS6 18's come in next week.....

^ B5 and B6 Avus rims are definitely not the same.

S4 B5's are 17x7.5" et 35 and B6's are 18x8" et 42, spoke tops styled quite different, centercaps different, etc.

dmoe's rims look B6 and look great on the Avant! Lemme know if you ever want to sell 'em

 

the wheels are 17's.....they will be my winter setup, as the new RS6 wheels will be the summer setup....they will be on this weekend

Rub it in that dmoe's Avant rims are B6 S4 style or that they are B6 S4 17" reps? Look closer at the design as they are definitely not B5 as you said.

For anyone's confirmation, the rim manufacturer info, size, offset, etc is usually stamped on the back side of the rim.

Looking forward to the new rim pics!
