Need help: Slight vibration at highway speeds

Guys... I need help.

I had a set of aftermarket rims on my car as winter rims. The hub size was a bit too large so I used hub rings. For the entire winter I had a very slight vibration at highway speeds, I can feel it through the steering wheel and the seat of my pants. But the vibration was very slight. I finally got a set of 17" OEM Audi A4 rims, and I just put them on my car yesterday. I mounted my snow tires on them and had everything balanced. Much to my surprise, the vibration (although better) is still there. Note, I did not have this problem last summer with my OEM 18" rims and summer tires. Could I have buggered something on my car by running the aftermarket rims all winter. Mind you, I only put around 5,000KM's on it this winter.

I drive a 2004 Audi A4 with around 80,000 K's on it. I'd like to get rid of this issue, but I'm not sure what to do.

Could be your tires need to be reseated on your rims and balanced again. Or you tires have irregular wear and is causing the vibration. how old are they and what kind of tires are they(brand)

I'm running a set of Bridgestone Blizzak Revo1 in a 225/45/17 size. This was my third winter, so I guess I have around 15-20KM's on the tires.

I'm going to get them re-balanced and see what that does.

I would bet that they have wear issue. Possibly cupping or feathering causing the vibration. if this is the case nothing you can do beside get a new set. Your tire guy should be able to point this out to you.

Yeah 99% of the time is your tires.
