any good mechanics in the okanogan area? i need a timing belt change but would like to avoid stealership.:neutral:

There is a shop called BT Automotive, but it is mainly Volvo, but the owner (Brain) knows Audi's as he was a mechanic at Turner VW/Audi. Was recommended from my good friend's Dad (who is a retired salesman from Turner) to do the timing belt on my A6. Did a good job and knew what had to be done. It was cheaper than Turner, and got it in and out in about 2 days.

Brain is a bit 'rough' around the edges and the shop is not 'high standard'. So I was 'worried' about my car, but in the end, it was a job well done.

Fairview Automotive in Penticton is really good. They specialize in Audi/VW.
