This doesn't look like a fog light bulb replacement? Anyone else have info?

Thanks

^ what he says... i dont think there's much difference in changing these between my B5 to your B6. There should be some tabs on the grill, and/o canr be pried out by a flat screwdriver.

Go to Canadian Tire and flip through their Guide Catalogue to identify what bulbs you need.

Please note, Canadian tires catalogue is incorrect for fog light, turn signal, and wipers. Your looking for H11, dont pay any attention to the catalogue in store.

Best to go to Lordco auto parts.

Re: Help : I need to know how to change the fog light bulb

1)Open the hood and reach down underneath the headlights to unplug the electrical plug from the fog light assembly. Squeeze the top of the release tab and pull the connection off the bulb's ballast.

2) Turn the fog light counterclockwise to remove it from the fog light housing.

3)Install the new fog light bulb. Then, turn it clockwise to lock it into the fog light housing. The part number you'll need for the replacement fog light can normally be found on the base of the old bulb. All you need to do is take the old bulb to any auto parts store and ask for a replacement bulb with the same bulb part number.

4)Connect the electrical plug to the back of the fog light ballast.

5)Verify that the fog lights are working by turning them on.

Beside looking directly on the old bulb, the best place to find out what replacement bulb you need is the Osram-Sylvania site: HERE

This site actually says they are either H7 or H11 (not sure why, maybe depending on options or date of production). Your best bet would then be to check on the old bulb.

I changed bith of them on my TT this week-end (H11 Nokya hyper yellow) and was able to go through the engine bay and reach them from above, just under the headlights. It was quite easy but I have a 4 cylender where you have a V6. Your engine bay mignt be a little more crowded...
Try it from above as describe by Sam (businessdegree) and if you don't have the room to do it this way, remove the fog grill (no big deal either)

Good luck.
