Re: Front Wheel Bearing Replacement - Advice

I'd say any brand made in Germany/Europe is good. Not really much difference in the process of making a bearing. Partsource might carry them. I don't really know since I get all my parts sourced through work.

If you know what you're doing, about 2 hours, give or take. If your pinch bolts are seized, 2.5 hours. LOL! Get a bunch of ion penetrating fluid.

This is really not a job for a DIY. You need a couple of specialty tools and a hydraulic press. Plus you will need an alignment afterwards.

If I were you, I'd call IT (416-628-1483) and get Bryan to slot you in for an appointment ...

check rockauto.com to see if they carry it... i'm pretty sure they do...

how long it takes to change it depends how fast you work and how seized up the parts are...

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Replacement - Advice

I think I need to replace my bearing on the driver front side too. I get a small pop when I first leave my parking spot then center the wheel but then it's fine on the road and in turns. Is this my bearing? Thanks
