Default Engine bay fan noise

Hi guys,

I've recently been involved in an accident, and the front end of my car needed repairing. I finally got my car back yesterday and upon firing her up (cold start) one of the fans in the hood (cooling radiator? / intercooler?) is extremely loud and keeps spinning for about 20-35 secs. It shuts off after and everything's back to normal.

Couple of notes:
The car has been in the shop for +4weeks. (got some other things done)

What could cause the fan to spin during ignition? Could it be possible that the body shop didn't install the parts properly? I'm going to take it to IT to have it checked out. If you have any insights, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers
