What engine?

Easiest mods you can do are modify your driving style. No more rev happy right foot, coast to red lights, avoid constant starting and stopping.

You can only save so much!

After all the Bx is a very heavy car for its size and it will require a certain amount of energy=fuel to keep it moving.

But get used to it: AUDIs are high maintenence and fuel is only part of it!

Another vote for driving habits - by far the biggest change you can make without switching to something like a Yaris.

Similarly, remove all unnecessary weight in the car.

take the transit. i took the transit to work for 2 months (it was downtown), saved probably around 500/month in gas and parking.
