So, after my oil change, i drained the oil into my used oil container, and what do i see, small pieces of plastic settling on the bottom of the my oil catch pan, so, i looked into the engine bay, and my oil dipstick funnel looks like it exploded , anyone have this occur to them? im trying to look for a new funnel, already emailed the stealership. Also is replacing the funnel hard? i wish to do this soon.

Its pretty simple and I believe the part is cheap from the dealer as well, theres a diy floating around on one of the audi sites

 

Yeah i found the DIY . just cant seem to find a dipstick funnel.. Dealership wont replay to emails, so ill guess i'll have to call them when im not so swamped with school work.

Ok, well i was driving today and my Oil level min came on. i know theres oil in there for i did an oil change less then a week ago. i tried checking but.. since the dipstick funnel is gone i cant gauge where the proper oil level is.. ideas?

 

Ah that's a good one. It happened to me a month ago I was checking my oil level and as I pulled the dipstick everything came apart and the funnel just broke in half. As noted above that's a pretty cheap part I paid $15 installed for a new one at my mechanic.
