Cold Air Intakes

Hey everybody I've been going insane looking for a good cold air induction system for my 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro. I've got my car running APR stage 1+ ECU upgrade with the bigger Bosch injectors and a good intake would be great to add to my list of mods. From what I've seen lots of A4 owners have put the Carbonio intake, but I'm a bit skeptical about it. I'd prefer to get a full cold air intake with the filter as far away from the turbo as possible to keep it away from hot air.

Ghost Squad Garage makes a cold air intake for the B7 A4, and the filter is placed practically in the front frame of the car behind the front bumper. I think a set-up like this would work much better than the Carbonio cold air box.

Any chance parts from a 2.0T will fit my engine, or would parts from a 1.8T Jetta fit?

I appreciate all your help!!!

Re: Cold Air Intakes

nope. neither will fit your car. the jetta has its engine pointing in the wrong direction.
