Check engine light for slipping clutch

I suspect my clutch is going on my car... Would the check engine light come on for that?
(mines on now, solid not flashing)

Wouldn't think so; clutch is all mechanical; no electrical sensors anywhere near it. if the problems is tied in with low fluid you might get a brake warning of some form however. You will need to check ths codes from your MIL/CEL.
