i did mine myself as long as you have the correct harrness for the rnse it really is plug an play
the hardest bit is finding somewhere to put the gps antenna
for the unit its self just plug the cables into the harness they should be 4 0r 5 and they are all different so you cant get them wrong
let me know if you need any advice took me about an hour and 40 mins of that was placing the gps antenna

i took the glovebox out and stuck the antenna to the top with double sided tape i left the glovebox out for the install as its a tight fit behind the radio and you can pull the cables back and push the radio in at the same time.
the sound from the rnse is better than the symphony just seems a lot crisper i have mine coded for video in motion and a dvd player in the glovebox.
i coded the instruments to show nav data as well dont use it much but neat to have.
i posted some pictures on here of it installed i will try and find them.think i put them under mods or something

Definitely a DIY (coming from a WD40 and duct tape kinda guy here !). After watching a buddy pull my cluster to put the GPS antenna behind there (just 2 torx screws), I had no problem removing it later when I demodded. If you need instructions, google RNS-e install and you'll find several how to links ...

Good luck and enjoy !
