Default B6 USP License Plant Dillema

So I have a 2004 A4 1.8T Ultra Sport. I have now received two tickets for not having a front license plate becasue as many of you know there is not license plate bracket on this bodykit....so for all you with USP, what did you do to mount the plate. I really don't want too cause itll look ugly, but maybe some of you have done something creative to get around this. Please post pics if possible

You know, *NO* B6 bumper has a license plate bracket, until holes are drilled to mount the bracket... USP is sold throughout North America with the license plate bracket installed by the dealer.

If you don't want to go down that standard route, you can always try placing magnets behind the bumpers to not have the plate on permanently.

Magnets are not a good idea, every bump you hit the plate shifts and guess what you get a scratch. I would mount it below the bumper on the grile and tie it back with some wire to the grille nice clean look but it might effect your temps for your FMIC if you have one

Ouch....I was warned about that yesterday when I got my 1st speeding ticket after 22 years of driving $109 fine for no front plate even though mine was suction cupped clearly in the front window. She was cool and let me go with a warning! Have you checked out the hide away license plate holders from Swift Motorsports? Those are $60 with free shipping in the US. You could get it shipped to Point Roberts TSB Shipping if you live in Van? I do that all the time.
