Air bag light

hey guys,
So yesterday i turn my a4 on and airbag light does not want to come off. After looking this up on google i found that sometimes the problem is with passenger seat being moved too much or too far back. As it happen yesterday a friend go into my car and pushed the seat back to the end very hard and later i was moving back and forth as i vacuumed the car. Any info would be great. Thanks
PS: car is a A4 2004 1.8t quattro
