A4'04 Cabrio Glove Box Door Hinge
 

Looking for some advice with respect to trying to fix or replace the glove box door on my 2004 Cabrio. The right hinge is broken. I have removed the entire glove box assembly, but I am having a tough time getting the pins out (2 steel pins that I have almost pulled the heads off)) where the hinges are. Has anyone done this with success? Is there a special tool? I am thinking that if I pull the door off that I might be able to fix the hinge or just replace the door.

Thanks in advance for any help that can get me somewhere.

Fix the door. They're $400 from the dealer. I have the same broken hinge. I just locked my glove box and no longer use it.
