A4 Sun Visor

I recently busted my sun visor. I simply raised it to the stowed position, and while doing that I heard a snap. The visor now sags off the headliner and there is no resistance when the visor is moved.

As it has the garage door opener keypad, a replacement visor is $400 Can.

Has anyone successfully repaired a visor? Any alternatives to the $400 Audi parts bin?

In Edmonton. I don't have the VIN number right here, my auto file is at home. It's an '04 A4. Not sure what more info we need, but happy to provide it if necessary,

What sort of options do you have?
