4 door, I love the structure and the body strenght, and the added roof, IMO the convertable is not a car mad for Canada unless you drive it one week out of the year.

it really depends on how often you'll have rear-seat passengers.

while a convertible is nice to have on nice days in the summer, how many days can you actually enjoy that functionality? if you lived in, say, L.A., Arizona, or Vegas, it really wouldn't matter - but here in canada, there's MAYBE 60 days you could really use it.

im a nut for convertibles.... i love em... even when they're Pontiac G6's... and im soo envious.

i wish that i had bought the cab instead of the 4 dr...
i love my 4 dr.. but theres nothing better than the feeling of a top down, and the wind blowing thru ur hair / (semi-bald head in my case )

but 1move is right... not practical for the winters.. even though it's stated that cab roofs are just as good... u still feel the cold, or have to worry if ur gona park outside in the snowstorms.. etc...

I drive my boxster with the roof down from April to October. The cars are designed to be driven in any weather (except rain of course) right down to 5 deg. The heat will work and keep you warm even with the roof down. In the heat as soon as your moving you don't feel hot no matter how hot it is outside. Kinda like the beach, it can be 35 degs outside and if there is a slight breeze your fine. Just make sure you wear a hat! I drove my car in -3 with the roof down and the heat blasting, in just a sweater i was ok. (when I first brought it home February 2005)

do you get any wind noise??? a co-worker had a 330i convertible and he kept complaining of wind noise around 120km/h...

we suggested for him to get a mesh divider but he never did...

the divider is essential in a bigger cab if your going at any kind of speed(hwy) stops all wind or most and stops the fing sound that kills your ears!

ah, I see... is the TT small enough not to require a divider? I've seen a couple with mini dividers between the roll bars...
