Default A4 rpm up and down

Im having problems with my rpm jumping every 5 seconds. Fluid change? It doesnt do it when i get on it. It has 110,000 miles. It has paddle shifters 6 speed /auto. And not sure of transmission type. im not sure if its allwheel drive either. Anyone have this problem? Any outcome? I also had a p0420 codke but i erased it and hasnt been back on.

Probably a bad vacuum, check your hoses, check valves for a leak.

How much is it dropping? there is an issue with the TC that is causing a 300RMP "Bounce" when at cruising speeds...

I had a similar problem on my passat back in the days....is the rpm jumping in idle or even while driving? anyway, mine was only on idle and it happened to be the RPM sensor or engine speed sensor
