Dealer should be $25-40. Be sure to get the seal too, and maybe a spare clip.
Don't risk picking up a China knock-off one. They suck.
Few other notes: be sure the car is cold and release any pressure from the coolant expansion tank. Hot coolant showers are not fun!

Should I follow the article Replacing Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor by Eric Seto, 2003 to do the replacement? He writes you don't need anything to replace it and it takes 3-5 minutes (there are also the pictures and where the sensor is located). Is it the same on 2004 model? Thanks again!
