I've been looking for info on the internet and coming up blank.

I'm wanting to know the power capabilities of the internals in a stock 3.0 AVK Engine (eg. pistons, crank, etc.)

Also looking for info on TC and VB upgrades for the B6 Tiptronic Trannys. Does anyone the code for a 2002 5spd Tiptronic behind the 3.0?

I'm thinking of doing a major project this winter. Maybe twin turbos, depending on the work required to the bottom end. I've been able to find one site where they've done it, but there isn't much info and no follow up.

 

Trans code is stamped on a green metal plate attached to side of trans, iirc right side. Should be able to retrieve from VAG. Trans code is also on the trunk PR Codes sticker.

Supercharging the 3.0L would be easier than custom twin turbo's

Yeah, I've looked into the supercharging option. Plenty of info on that. It would be the easy route. I just want to do something different. So I'm just looking for any info I can get on it. I know it has been done at least once.

BTW, That link is a little misleading and out of date. PES has significantly decreased the price on the G3 supercharger (which is what that link is showing, not the G2 as it states in the heading). I think the price is around $3700 now. SCAudi.com is your best bet for supercharging info.
