3.0 Timing Belt Tools
 

I'm getting ready to do my Timing Belt and I'm trying to track down some tools to borrow/rent. I'm in Okanagan area.

Does anyone know of any canadian places online that rent them?

Does anyone have the tools and would like to make some money with them?

I was hoping to rent them from Blauparts but they don't rent them outside of the US.

I'm just looking for the specialty tools. (ie cam locks, crank lock, etc.)

Well Couldn't find anywhere to rent from so I just went ahead and bought them. Here is the kit I bought:

T40030 JUMBO Master Set (9) Tools for VW Audi on eBay.ca (item 170324873434 end time 21-Aug-09 19:02:02 EDT)

It should be enough to get the job done. I haven't yet received them. but hopefully they are here next week sometime so I can get my belt changed.

I figured since it is such an ordeal trying to get tools for this (for Canadians with no friends who are audi techs), I'd rent the tools out after I'm done with them. Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out.
