Default Wheels Problem

I pumped the tires to 42 psi 3 days ago and today my pressure is at 20 (TWENTY) psi.

HO HO HO where did the pressure go?

AUDI wheels may be a problem.

It never happened on a 1978 Lada!

You are in chilly Calgary, has there been any drastic temperature changes recently?

gotta love aluminum rims.. this is why they say to use steel rims in the winter. also 42 psi is too high IMO.. 32 is the audi recommended psi.

Wow, that's a huge drop. Did all wheels loose pressure equally?

My recommended pressures are 42 front & 40 rear.

I go with the rule of thumb.. More PSI = Less Traction
10 PSI, not a huge drastic change, but why go beyond the recommendations.....

Recommended PSI varies with your tire size. I run 40 at all corners, but only with my 18" rims and 40 series tires ( 235.40.18 ). When I have my winters on, I'm running closer to 32-34.

Lol, no, it actually states on the inside of the fuel hatch that those are the recommended PSI for my car. That doesn't come from me.

I think the difference between Rodman and Midrange is this. I suspect that Rodman is running 18 or maybe 19" rims and Midrange is running 17's. I believe that lower profile tires require more PSI's.
