Default How to add an inch to your S4 sideskirts for WIDEBODY conversion:

So i'm about to start my widebody and i got my sideskirts from my buddy's S4 but once installed they just looked a little too stock. The OEM rs4 skirts are wider than the s4's and look great so i decided to just modify my rocker panels. I found a few 10ft lengths of angled sheet metal and cut them to fit my stock rocker exactly. I ripped off the lower door moldings and grinded down the clip mounts smooth. then i just attached the s4 skirts to that for about an added inch. These are rough stages of the job but i will most likely blend the seam and clean things up a bit. i'll post more pics as things progress.

ok i finally added to my front fenders just because pulling them wasn't enough for me. i made an attempt at blending the front fenders with the sideskirts as well, so we'll see how it plays out. Anyways here's some starter pics with my first layer of filler, there's no sanding or fine-tuning done yet so these are some VERY raw photos, but you get the main idea from these. I think that if all goes well i'll be seeing the paint booth in about 3 weeks.

Starting to get there! Please tell me you are lowering the car and adding some bigger rims\tires to fill out those monster flares? It's a tough look to do right, but it looks like you are capable of tackling it! Keep the pictures coming please!
